I had a rough night; the room was stifling hot, even with windows wide open and a fan blasting. Plus, the bunk beds were a nightmare—climbing to the top was risky in the dark, especially with limited space.

The beautiful grounds and the peaceful atmosphere made it a real retreat. the fire alarm went off for over 30 minutes early one morning, which was quite disruptive.

Great place for families, especially if you're driving. Lots of space, clean, and a decent price! The self-catering setup is handy, but bring your own kettle. Staff were mostly friendly, though one could use a little customer service training. A cozy spot for a night’s stay!

The charming gardens and unique building create a lovely atmosphere. We appreciated the flexibility of the self-catering kitchen and enjoyed the breakfast options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Just be prepared for a bit of heat if the radiator isn’t adjusted. A relaxing stay!

The place has a lovely hall and great facilities, with friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious, though the breakfast room can get a bit crowded. My dorm was warm and convenient, perfect for a short stay. Just a heads up, the rooms might feel a bit basic, but it's excellent value!

The breakfast set us up perfectly for the day, with plenty of choices and friendly staff that went out of their way to help. The self-catering area was a fantastic touch, allowing us to keep food organized. The gardens and games room were lovely for relaxing. Nearby attractions like the Blue Planet Aquarium and National Waterways Museum added to our family bonding experience. I do wish there were indoor walkways between rooms and the main building, but overall, it was a charming stay!

I had a lovely stay at this place! The location is super convenient, surrounded by beautiful gardens and great walking paths. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, plus the room was surprisingly spacious and comfy. I also enjoyed the tasty meals available in the little restaurant; everything was better than I expected!
My room was quite warm even with the window open, which made sleep a bit tricky. if you’re leaving early, it can be a hassle with no key drop-off outside of reception. Better check-out options for early risers would definitely help!

The communal areas were well-maintained, and I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The facilities for cooking and dining were convenient, and I was pleased with the breakfast options that offered great value for money.
Not one thing! 😊.

I had a nice stay over Christmas! The location was spot on, just a short drive to shopping and attractions like Cheshire Oaks. The room was clean and surprisingly spacious, with comfy beds for the family. Plus, the warm and friendly staff made everything even better! It was great to have breakfast options for the kids at an affordable price too.
The place can feel a bit eerie at night since it's somewhat remote. The internet connection in the rooms was absent, which was a bummer. I noticed the walls were thin, so you could hear a bit too much from the neighbors. Overall though, for the price, it served its purpose well!

The breakfast was brilliant and great value. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Just wish the weather had been a bit better so we could have explored the grounds! Fabulous place. Wonderful setting. Staff very helpful, friendly. Rooms great value and very clean. Beautiful scenery around the grounds and where the huts are, gardens are well looked after. Variety of food, drinks and games available from the bar. Great fun!
Felt completely relaxed, nothing too much trouble.

The location of this hotel was great, with plenty of fun and food options nearby. the breakfast provided was nice and the staff were polite and helpful. I also enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the grand country residence set in a lovely garden.
the shared kitchen was not kept as clean as it should have been by some of the guests. there were some issues with the room, such as damaged plaster work and a double bed with a mattress that had parts where you could feel the bottom frame.
